What Is ClearSilk?

ClearSilk by Sciton is a gentle, non-ablative 1064 nm laser treatment used to support a clearer, brighter, and more even-looking complexion. Instead of removing the skin’s surface, it delivers controlled heat below the surface.

Concerns ClearSilk May Address

  • Diffuse redness and flushing
  • Dull or uneven-looking tone
  • Fine lines and early visible aging
  • Rough or uneven texture
  • Ongoing skin-maintenance goals

How It Works

The handpiece is moved over the treatment area while laser energy gradually warms tissue. This controlled heating supports the skin’s natural repair activity and may reduce the appearance of diffuse redness while improving overall texture and radiance.

ClearSilk vs. ClearV

ClearSilk is generally selected for broad revitalization and diffuse redness. ClearV is designed for more precise treatment of selected visible or subsurface vessels. Your provider may recommend one or a combination.

Treatment Experience and Results

Protective eyewear is used. Patients typically feel progressive warmth as the handpiece passes over the skin. Treatment intensity and time depend on the area and plan.

Temporary warmth, mild redness, or sensitivity may occur, but most patients return to normal activities. Results are often subtle and build with a series. ClearSilk may also be incorporated into a longer-term maintenance plan.

Candidacy and Aftercare

Your provider will review pregnancy status, active infection, medications, recent sun exposure, pigment history, and previous procedures. Although recovery is usually limited, careful sun protection and the recommended skincare remain important.
